The King David School located in Liverpool, England is a popular specialist humanities college mixed voluntary aided Jewish Orthodox secondary school.[1]
In 2004, King David combined its Sixth Form with two other local schools – Childwall, and Broadgreen International School. This means that pupils at King David can choose options available at these schools, and attend lessons in the respective school while still being a pupil at King David, and using it as their study base. Also known as a collaboration
It has a friendly communal spirit, and is known to attain good results in all levels of education. It gives a distinctly Jewish education and is important to the Jewish community in Liverpool, though it also admits students of other faiths.
Faculties –
In September 2011, the primary and secondary moved into a new school worth £25 million.[2]. There are now three floors in King David. On the ground floor, there are the "creative" subjects, including ICT, Business, Art, Design Technology and PE (in a separate gym). There is also the reception area, canteen, sixth form common room and atrium. On the first floor, there are the humanities subjects (English, Modern Foreign Languages, History and Geography). The second floor is the home to the Maths rooms and Science Labs. All floors have "breakout" spaces, where classes can go to do project/group work. There are also ICT Facilities, toilets and water fountains on each floor.
